Machine Operator
Machine Operator
Location: Homer, MI
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available
Pay: $18–$25/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated production machinery
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality specifications
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Make basic machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency
- Identify and report mechanical issues or quality concerns
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous machine operating experience preferred
- Experience in automotive or metal manufacturing a plus
- Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions
- Familiarity with measuring tools and quality standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- High school diploma or GED preferred
