Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Functional Kids Therapy Center is a growing, collaborative pediatric therapy practice dedicated to supporting children and families through individualized, play-based care. Our team provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and counseling services in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

This role may be structured as either a W2 employee or 1099 contractor position, based on candidate preference and role alignment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis . This role is ideal for a therapist who is passionate about working with children and families and is looking for a multi-disciplinary/supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment for pediatric clients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Address areas such as: Sensory processing, Motor planning and coordination, Fine motor skills, Self-regulation, ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to support carryover at home
• Communicate effectively with team members and referral sources

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan (or eligible)
• NBCOT Certified
• Experience in pediatrics preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
• Passion for working with children and families
