Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for all manufactured products.
• Manage, train, and motivate production staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production processes for efficiency, identifying and implementing improvements to optimize output and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot production issues and equipment malfunctions, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports on output, quality, and downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing production environment, with prior supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, including coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize workflows, and drive efficiency.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with common ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• Bilingual fluency (e.g., Spanish) relevant to the local workforce
• Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills for production equipment
