- Builds and executes marketing strategy for the College of Education. Establish marketing goals and develop systems to track effectiveness, making recommendations as needed to increase effectiveness.
- Manage the College's digital, print and multimedia creative content (internal/external websites, emails, newsletters, signage, viewbooks, magazines, etc.)
- Manages College-level social media accounts, generate compelling content, and post in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with College-level stakeholders to achieve marketing goals (awareness, enrollment, retention, scholarship, etc.)
- Assists in the development and distribution of internal communications.
- Supports the College's reputation among campus, statewide and national audiences through press releases, faculty/student highlights and achievements, and awareness marketing.
- Development and/or communication of informational programs to enhance and maintain favorable perceptions of an organization's accomplishments or agenda. Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences. Create informational content that supports the University brand for print, web and social media formats. Increase the visibility of the organization in all media areas.
- Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas and services.
- Establish or maintain cooperative relationships with student groups, representatives of governmental, community, employee, public interest groups, and news and other media.
- Identify trends or key group interests or concerns or provide advice on staying current with techniques and approaches.
- Provide a website strategy and plan content updates regularly for both the external college website while driving internal communication.
- Provide direction and assistance on the most appropriate way to present information and ways to engage the audience. Write press releases and coordinate photo opportunities.
- Coordinate special events to promote relations with students, alumni, retirees, and a variety of VIPS.
- Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits to increase product or service awareness or to promote goodwill. Work closely with appropriate external resources to ensure efficient functionality of resources.

- Experience in Higher Education Marketing
Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing and communication strategies within a college or university setting, with an understanding of academic audiences, enrollment goals, and institutional branding. - Proficiency in Digital Content and Analytics Tools
Experience managing websites, social media platforms, email marketing systems, and content management systems (CMS), along with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for engagement and effectiveness. - Strong Storytelling and Media Relations Skills
Proven ability to create compelling written and multimedia content (e.g., press releases, feature stories, videos) and build relationships with media outlets and stakeholders to enhance organizational visibility and reputation.
