Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire (Cassopolis, MI)

Shifts Available:

• 2 openings on 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM)
• 2 openings on 3rd shift (11 PM – 7 AM)
• Typical schedule: 48–56 hours/week
• Top candidates may be considered for 1st shift

Pay Range Available:

• $25/hr. - $40/hr.

Company & Work Environment Info:

This position is full-time direct placement in a full-service aluminum extrusion facility , producing custom extruded parts for a range of industries including:

• Recreational vehicles (RVs)
• Specialty trailers
• Fencing systems
• General industrial and custom aluminum applications

The facility performs extrusion, anodizing, painting (wet and powder coat), and fabrication all in-house.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support the operation and upkeep of high-tonnage extrusion presses and associated equipment. Primary responsibilities include:

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Hydraulic system maintenance
• Basic PLC troubleshooting – especially Allen-Bradley systems (plug in, diagnose, and resolve)
• Routine preventive maintenance (PMs) and emergency repairs
• Work in a high-heat industrial environment (up to 1,000°F near ovens and die heaters)

Ideal Skills:

• Strong electrical and hydraulic maintenance experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs (plug in, diagnose faults)
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
• Prior experience in extrusion, heavy industrial, or metal processing facilities is a plus
• Willing to work weekends and extended shifts as needed
