The Automotive Technical Writer will create clear and detailed documentation for automotive systems, components, and processes. This role requires the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly manuals, guides, and other materials to support engineers, technicians, and end-users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical manuals, user guides, and training materials for automotive products.
- Collaborate with engineers and product developers to gather accurate technical information.
- Ensure documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Update materials based on product changes and customer feedback.
- Use graphics and diagrams to enhance document comprehension.
- Manage documentation projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Compensation: $25/hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
