Travel Nurse Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Rochester, MI 48307 (Michigan nursing jobs)
• Unit: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRPN)
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week (36 hours/week); must be available to work weekends and at least one holiday
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Time Off: Up to 1 week of Requested Time Off (RTO) may be requested
• Pay Rate: $48-$62/hr
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2070

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Certified in Perinatal Nursing (CPN) preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate care to Labor & Delivery patients
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families
• Communicate patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team
• Participate in problem-solving and implement solutions for patient care variances
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
