Location: Muskegon, MI

Starting Pay: $16.50+/hr +$1 for CNA Certification (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Model gentle teaching for staff.
• Provide direct care to individuals served, such as bathing, administering medications, cooking, and cleaning.
• Prioritize responsibilities and time management efficiently to ensure all responsibilities are met.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality by responsive, professional, and efficient delivery of person-centered services.
• Maintain good working relationships with clinicians, licensing consultants, and guardians.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely professional manner.
• Ensure that the social, personal, and medical needs of each person are met, with appropriate follow-up documentation completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure programs and guidelines are followed as written, including behavioral support, person-centered plans, and other individualized plans of service.
• Maintain on-call availability to manage and coordinate emergency situations.

Qualifications/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in an AFC setting required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug testing requirements
