Java Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI(Hybrid). You will design, develop, and deploy full-stack Java applications while ensuring seamless integration and system testing.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack Java applications using Angular, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

• Participate in integration planning and system testing, ensuring seamless delivery of APIs, web services, and database components.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions following Agile methodology and SDLC best practices.

• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.

• Work on cloud-based development by integrating GCP services (BigQuery, DataFlow) and configuring infrastructure through Terraform.

• Support data workflows and MLOps cycles, including data extraction, model training, deployment, and re-training using Python and ML libraries.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in Angular and Spring Boot development.

• Hands-on experience with full-stack Java development, including front-end, back-end, and database integration.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins) and experience with cloud platforms (GCP, PCF) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
