We are looking for a dedicated Office Manager to join our team in St Joseph, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping tasks while managing essential administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations. This position requires someone with strong organizational skills and experience in financial processes.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Handle administrative tasks such as organizing office systems and managing correspondence.
• Monitor and address phone system inquiries to support office communication.
• Prepare and review financial reports to assist in decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payments.
• Support the team by maintaining organized office workflows and documentation.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies in financial records.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.
• Solid organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication skills for managing phone systems and correspondence.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prior experience in a construction or contractor industry is a plus.
