Business Development Manager

Salary:

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a driven B2B sales professional to join their sales team as an Account Executive/Business Development Manager. This role focuses on generating new business by prospecting and building relationships with small to medium-sized businesses. The position involves presenting solutions such as payroll services, time and attendance tools, HR services, and related business products directly to executives, business owners, and key decision-makers. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong cold-calling skills and the ability to close sales in a high-activity environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new small to medium-sized business clients through prospecting and networking

• Schedule and conduct meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with decision-makers

• Cold call businesses to generate new opportunities and schedule appointments

• Build relationships with business owners and generate new sales through referrals and networking

• Present and sell payroll, HR, time and attendance, and related business solutions

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and pricing

• Track sales activity and manage pipeline using CRM systems

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support sales goals and team success

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience with medium to high sales activity

• Proven success with cold calling and prospecting in a competitive sales environment

• Strong ability to overcome objections and close sales opportunities

• Experience using CRM systems and spreadsheet software

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent industry experience
