Position: Logistics & Shipping Coordinator

Type: Part-Time (Approx. 20 hours/week)

Experience Level: 1–3 years

Overview:
NCP Coatings, a leader in high-performance industrial and military coatings, is seeking a part-time Logistics & Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping and logistics operations at our Niles, Michigan facility. This role is ideal for someone organized, tech-savvy, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outbound shipments of paint and coatings products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labeling and documentation requirements
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve shipping issues
• Enter and track orders, shipments, and inventory data in ERP or shipping systems
• Prepare and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and related shipping documents
• Support freight scheduling, tracking, and general logistics activities

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and data entry accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or administrative coordination (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Familiarity with hazardous materials or chemical shipping documentation a plus
