Primary Roles

• Supervise and conduct various types of surveys, including boundary, topographic construction, as-build and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Assist department manager in the continued development and improvement of the department.
• Research historical maps, land records, previous survey results and land title information as needed to compare and verify current measurements and resolve boundary issues.
• Prepare a variety of surveying documents according to client or project requirements, such as Certificates of Survey, topographic maps, condominium documents, subdivision plats and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
• Communicate with architects, engineers and construction personnel as needed during land development projects to verify geological and property boundary data, and contribute to building design as needed.
• Willingness to research, develop and implement new technologies and procedures to continue to provide clients with evolving services and products.
• Continue to use and develop QA/QC procedures and guidelines to maintain a high level of client confidence and satisfaction with all surveying products and services.

Education/Experience

• Experience with UAVs, scanner and LiDAR capture and processing, Trimble surveying products, and GIS development use.
• Experience with MDOT survey requirements a plus.
• Professional Land Surveying License Desired
• Remote Pilots License
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
