Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Full-Time | 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
$19/hr
Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and inspect materials for damage or accuracy.
- Enter receiving information into ERP/WMS systems and label materials for storage or production use.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, wrapping, and palletizing orders according to customer and carrier requirements.
- Generate shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and freight labels.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups, scheduling, and shipment tracking.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and assisting with warehouse organization.
- Ensure materials and finished goods are stored in correct locations and follow FIFO/lot tracking procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment following all company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and inventory.
- Basic computer skills and experience with ERP/WMS systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
