Enter and/or update case data on the WORCS computer system as it relates to 16,000 pending contested workers' compensation cases. Data enter nearly 30,000 Applications for Mediation or Hearing. Process and prepare for mailing copies of decisions to all parties involved in litigation cases. Assist with the opening of mail and the scanning of files. Assist customers on coverage of incoming phone calls relating to litigated cases.

There is a possibility of a remote/hybrid schedule based on performance and operational need. However, all work must be performed in Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.

Required Education and Experience

Education Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school. Experience Data Coding Operator 5 No specific type or amount is required. Data Coding Operator 6 One year of administrative support experience. Data Coding Operator E7 Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to a Data Coding Operator 6, involving data coding/entry.
