Salary Range: $61,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC Swiss Lathes to produce precision parts.
• Perform machine setups, including tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections using various metrology tools to ensure part conformity.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, M-code, and engineering specifications.
• Load raw material stock and unload finished parts from the machine.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms, tooling issues, or production deviations.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and preventative checks.
• Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and material traceability.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and technical specifications.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, optical comparators).
• Ability to perform in-process quality inspections and make tool offset adjustments.
• Familiarity with various metal alloys and plastics used in precision machining.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in G-code programming or advanced program editing.
• Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex machine alarms and process inefficiencies.
• Knowledge of tooling selection and optimization for various materials and part geometries.
