Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for production, skilled trades, and administrative staff.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company regulations, and manufacturing safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Coordinate performance management processes, including reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans.
• Oversee benefits administration, support payroll processing, and assist with compensation adjustments.
• Facilitate and track employee training programs focused on safety, compliance, and skill development.
• Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data, generating reports for workforce analytics and compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA) and their practical application.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and grievance handling.
• Proven ability to recruit and onboard talent for various manufacturing roles, from production to skilled trades.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong data analysis skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish.
• Exposure to a unionized environment or collective bargaining agreements.
