Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for production, engineering, and administrative roles.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and professional development plans.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs focused on safety, compliance, and skill development.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) within the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, including collective bargaining, grievance resolution, and positive employee relations.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain skilled production, technical, and management talent within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, federal and state employment laws, and OSHA regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that support operational efficiency, safety, and productivity goals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse manufacturing workforce.
• Certification in a specific safety program (e.g., OSHA 30-hour General Industry) or strong understanding of manufacturing safety regulations.
• Proficiency with specific HRIS/timekeeping systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now with shop floor modules).
