This is an independent contractor position (1099) where your earnings is up to your drive to build your schedule.

Duties

• Provide customized massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client concerns
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy, and medical history
• Educate clients on pain management techniques, occupational health practices, and self-care strategies for ongoing wellness
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
• Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene protocols and professional standards at all times
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to coordinate care or refer clients for further evaluation
• Promote a positive customer service experience by actively listening to client needs and providing empathetic support throughout each session

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
• Proven experience in patient service with excellent communication skills
• Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans
• Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety
