Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT/OT infrastructure to ensure continuous production operations and minimize downtime.
• Oversee cybersecurity measures to protect proprietary manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of manufacturing-specific systems such as ERP, MES, and automation software.
• Provide comprehensive technical support and strategic guidance to factory floor personnel and administrative staff.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology solutions align with manufacturing goals and efficiency targets.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) support production uptime and performance.
• Ensure data integrity and availability for production reporting, operational analytics, and quality control processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT operations and strategy within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing-specific IT systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, and SCADA/OT environments.
• Strong background in IT project management, particularly for system implementations and upgrades in production settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices applicable to industrial control systems (ICS) and manufacturing networks.
• Ability to effectively manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and lead a diverse technical team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA, MES, or other industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT implementation in a production environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in IT/OT convergence and industrial cybersecurity.
