Responsibilities include all aspects related to mechanical operations. Support prompt repair, preventative maintenance schedules, housekeeping and organizational standards. You will update the respective departments regarding the status of all operating equipment. Work with vendors, riggers, and millwrights on proper installation of equipment. You will report to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. Current opening available: 2nd Shift (2pm - 10:30pm). Safety First is "Safety Always." Safe Work Practices and Procedures are priority one. You will perform the Preventative Maintenance program for equipment, per guidelines. Servicing equipment that includes cold headers (forging), heat treatment furnaces, plating lines, high speed sorting equipment, collation, conveyors and motors. Anticipate and resolve problems promptly. You will follow approved Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures. Follow approved reduction of stored energy guidelines. You will provide input and help manage continuous improvement projects. Electrically and mechanically troubleshoot issues as they occur. Operate a fork-truck, man-lift, shop fabricating equipment, power hand tools, etc. Other related responsibilities. To Succeed, You Will Need 3 years of industrial/manufacturing environment experience Industry understanding in pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and servo motors. Experience with proactive maintenance systems (CMMS). Understand basic electrical prints. Experience troubleshooting electrical control circuits and following electrical standards. Experience with installation of new or upgrading existing systems/equipment. Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred). Basic welding/fabrication skills. Good mechanical reasoning. Ability to make critical decisions without direct supervision. Physical Requirements (as Applicable) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs and work in high places. Education and Qualifications High School Diploma, required. Electrical certification, preferred. Experience training junior apprentice(s) on the proper methods of equipment repair and maintenance.
