2026 Supplier Quality Summer Internship
The Supplier Quality Summer Intern will support the Global Supply Management team by assisting with supplier quality activities, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in automotive supplier quality processes while contributing meaningful work to support supplier performance, risk mitigation, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) with day-to-day supplier quality activities

Assist in tracking and analyzing supplier quality performance metrics (PPM, corrective actions, audits)

Help manage and follow up on supplier corrective actions (5Y / problem-solving activities)

Support documentation review, including run @ rate, PPAP elements, control plans, and inspection records

Participate in supplier quality improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Prepare reports and presentations summarizing quality data and trends for the team

Assist with internal audits, supplier assessments, and cross-functional quality reviews as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Candidate must be able to work up to 40 hours per week, onsite in Saginaw, MI

Candidate must be enrolled in classes for the following Fall 2026 semester

Candidate must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and basic data analysis

Effective written and verbal communication skills
? Previous internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, quality, or supply chain preferred, but not required
? Familiarity with quality fundamentals (root cause analysis, basic statistics) preferred, but not required
? Interest in automotive manufacturing and supplier management preferred, but not required
