Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing the Sales to Cash (STC) process, ensuring timely and accurate order entry, invoicing, and customer communication. The role involves supporting internal teams such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance while maintaining strong relationships with external customers. This hybrid position requires professionalism, adaptability, and strong technical and communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process customer orders accurately using SAP-R3 or equivalent systems.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, and issues with professionalism and product knowledge.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Monitor sales orders through the fulfillment process and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Handle customer account activities including issuing credit/debit memos, processing samples, rebates, and resolving disputes.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and SharePoint for tracking customer data and maintaining service records.
  • Proactively identify and address customer needs to enhance satisfaction.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and contribute to change initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all customer transactions.
  • Provide reports, presentations, and analysis using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency as a Customer Service Representative (beyond call center or retail experience).
  • Strong understanding of the Sales to Cash (STC) process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • 6 months–1 year of SAP-R3 or equivalent experience (order placement, deliverables creation, invoicing).
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and project management abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.

Education:

High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
