Key Responsibilities
- Work 12-hour shifts across our six AFC homes (Troy and Farmington).
- Provide total care to clients while ensuring safety, dignity, comfort, and a therapeutic environment.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized home environment, including deep cleaning each shift.
- Assist clients with ADLs: meal prep, feeding, bathing/hygiene, toileting, etc.
- Supervise and engage clients during community outings, recreational events, and medical appointments.
- Model and encourage positive behavior.
- Complete all required training to meet licensing and facility standards.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism at all times.
- Follow directives effectively and maintain respectful boundaries with clients.

Requirements
- Reliable transportation (six locations across Troy and Farmington).
- Flexibility—may be required to change locations mid-shift or accompany clients to the hospital.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work full-time (three 12-hour shifts per week).
- Availability for orientation (9:00 AM–5:00 PM).
- Ability to rotate weekends (every other Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check.
- Experience assisting clients with ADLs.
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and hardworking.
- Must remain awake and alert for the entire shift.
