Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing department activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Ensure all finished products adhere to established quality specifications through regular inspection and process control.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing personnel, fostering a productive and skilled team.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the finishing area.
• Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality discrepancies promptly.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory of finishing materials and supplies to prevent production delays.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing finishing department.
• Strong knowledge of various finishing processes such as painting, coating, polishing, assembly, or final inspection.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules, optimize workflow, and meet output targets.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining quality control standards and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to guide and motivate a production team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Certification or specialized training in a specific finishing technique (e.g., powder coating, precision assembly, automated testing).
• Proven track record in training and developing production team members.
