Summary

The Controller is responsible for preparing and reporting all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial statements both internally and mapped to corporate structure.
• Working closely with all levels of management to ensure proper KPI setup and definitive corrective actions.
• Oversees all payroll functions alongside Human Resources.
• Composes all quarterly and weekly tax deposits and returns (941, 940, SUTA, etc…)
• Accountable for compliance with 401k plan and ensuring all deposits are made accurately & timely.
• Involved in yearend audit, working closely with CPA firm to prepare financial statements and annual tax returns.
• Supervises all Accounts payable and Accounts receivable functions.
• Construction of annual budget and responsible to provide ongoing forecasting of current performance.
• Responsible for various Balance Sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Support internal operational and compliance programs.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Guide all financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape.
• Formulates monthly bank reporting for compliance with several financial covenants.

General Duties

• Make appropriate decisions, utilizing the Company Handbook and the Principles Handbook as guideline
• Support and drive the development of the latest Quality Management System.
• Aid in determining the necessary equipment needed to effectively run the plant.
• Ultimately responsible to ensure the company operates within the environmental standards set by the State and Federal government.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, or sitting for varying periods of time.
• Stooping and bending is required.

• Hand / eye coordination and manual dexterity is required.

Quality System

Responsible for following the standards and guidelines of the latest quality system, including maintaining departmental records, participating in internal / external audits, and following quality procedures on a daily basis. Along with the help of the Quality Manager, drives the initiative to strive for continuous improvement.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• At least 5+ years in an accounting management role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially MS Excel
• Familiarity with PLEX ERP system.

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
