Accounts Payable Operations Coordinator

Help us elevate our payables operation—where precision, timeliness, and vendor trust meet. As the Accounts Payable Operations Coordinator, you orchestrate the flow from invoice receipt to disbursement, ensuring accurate records and strong controls every step of the way.

Your impact

• Own the end-to-end processing of a high volume of vendor invoices with accurate coding.
• Execute three-way matches across purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate weekly check runs and initiate ACH, wire, and other electronic payments on schedule.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for vendor inquiries and payment issues.
• Reconcile vendor statements and track down outstanding items.
• Contribute to month-end close through accruals and AP aging reports.
• Safeguard documentation quality and adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Partner with procurement and cross-functional teams to resolve invoice or PO-related challenges.
• Support external and internal audits with clear documentation and explanations.

About you

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of AP or closely related accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP fundamentals and AP best practices.
• Tech-forward mindset and comfort adopting new systems.
• Excel skills including data sorting and filtering.
• Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational ability.
• Proven time management to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred exposure

• Working with ERP systems and automated AP workflows.
• Handling 1099 processing and sales tax compliance.
• Operating in high-volume, multi-entity settings.

As month-end arrives, you consolidate accruals, update the AP aging, and verify that documentation aligns with internal controls. Vendors are up to date, payments are on schedule, and audit-ready records reflect your diligence.

Compensation and benefits

Compensation: $45-50k depending on experience level.
