Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Wolverine Lawn Services is seeking dedicated Grounds Maintenance Crew Members and Crew Leads to join our growing team serving West Michigan. Responsibilities

• Prune shrubs, trees, and plants to maintain appearance and health
• Weed flower beds and landscaped areas; apply mulch as needed
• Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds, including debris, litter, and leaf removal
• Inspect grounds for safety issues and report hazards
• Support snow and ice management activities during winter season as assigned
• Safely operate trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping tools
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment (cleaning, refueling, blade changes, etc.)
• Report equipment damage or repair needs promptly
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work independently or as part of a crew to complete assigned tasks
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding progress and needs
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor on all job sites
• Adhere to uniform standards and represent Wolverine’s culture and values

Qualifications

• Prior groundskeeping or lawn care experience preferred but not required
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, weekends, and during seasonal variations

Compensation

$18 - $21 per hour, based on experience
