Job Summary
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Personal Closing Representative to join our Team.
As a Personal Closing Representative, you'll be at the heart of the action, processing title orders and documentation for real estate transaction closings where we provide title insurance. You'll thrive in a team environment, collaborating with awesome colleagues. We're seeking someone with a positive attitude and passion for going above and beyond to delight our customers. Responsibilities and Duties
Typical duties of the position may include:
- Review necessary surveys; compare property descriptions on title commitments to surveys, purchase agreements, and other legal documents to ascertain their accuracy and completeness.
- Perform all processing on escrow files to ensure the company can meet the customer's closing deadlines and provide title insurance on the transactions.
- Log all specific file information and track the status of the file's documentation within the company's electronic filing system.
- Provide proactive communication with customers to foster a seamless transaction as well as a long-term business relationship with customers

- Coordinate closings times and dates with all parties involved in transaction.
- Monitor, answer, and/or direct customer service emails and calls.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Regular and physical attendance at the workplace location
The Personal Closing Representative may be assigned additional tasks in support of the department's goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email programs, and other web-based programs.
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm accurately.
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate while handling both positive and negative situations.
- Analytical ability is sufficient to perform varied tasks of limited complexity.
- Attentive to details and able to follow instructions.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Ability to function as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains privacy and confidentially of company information, as well as customers and co-workers.
- Strong organization skills
Education : A high school diploma or the recognized equivalent is required.
Experience : A minimum of one year of experience in the real estate/ lending or banking industry is preferred but not required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses:
Michigan Producer's Licenses.
