Job Summary
Our client is seeking an E&I Onsite Coordinator to support brownfield refinery projects, perform design reviews, site verification, and coordinate with engineering teams for project execution. Candidates should have 5–15 years of oil & gas refinery experience with strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design deliverables.
Job Description
- Perform design review and PE stamping on applicable Design documents.
- Brown field projects execution.
- Understand Project Scope and objectives for Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Engineering Projects.
- Perform Filed Verification, Gather Project relevant technical documentation, conduct Technical Review meetings, Site FEEDBACK/Data/Inputs to India Team.
- Work with site Project Manager and Engineering team for project execution roadblocks.
- Facilitate Project Review, Engineering Design Review and 3D Model Review meetings
- Work with Engineering Design team in India for project coordination, vendor coordination and design updates
- Shall have generic ideas of almost all engineering discipline, primary focus on Electrical and Instrumentation Disciplines.
- Verify feasibility of deliverables/ solutions provided by Client’s India Team vis-à-vis actual as-built situation at site.
Skills Required
- 5-15 years experience required working in an oil & gas refinery.
- Knowledge of I&C & Electrical Design.
- Knowledge of Deliverables Single Line Diagram, Load list, Instrument Index, Loop Drawings, Specifications, Schematics, Wiring, Cable schedule, JB and SOW etc.
- Control Panel Engineering Knowledge is preferable.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor of Engineering/Master of Engineering
- Certified Professional License Engineer, TX, USA.
- PE is not required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be local to Beaumont/Port Arthur area. Southeast Texas location.
- Potential site travel to Baton Rouge, Corpus Christi and Joliet refineries.
- Extensive Travel is expected by Onsite Team as Projects are spreader across USA locations.
