Position: Electrical Assembler

Location: Dexter, MI

Duration: 9 month contract + extensions (long-term opportunity)

Pay Rate: $20-$26/h

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of a two-year degree in electrical or electro-mechanical technology, or other relevant degrees in which the majority of the curriculum is related to electronics, electrical or electro-mechanical assembly/repair/diagnostics.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience within PCB and Soldering
• Experience in building electrical control panel or electrical system integration experience.
• Intermediate IT Skills
• Good mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools.

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Assembler is wholly responsible for the quality of the products/goods produced. The electrical assembler will assemble subassemblies, final assemblies, complete associate paperwork including documenting serial numbers for part tracing, load firmware/software, and conduct required testing. Responsible for production of manufactured electromechanical environmental monitoring instrumentation. The main function of the role is to ensure that all manufactured/serviced items are built/serviced, calibrated and tested to ensure optimum quality for the customer. Work is to be completed to a high standard with zero defects. Examples of activities include manufacturing & servicing (to work instruction) of GA, Gxxx, Fixed Position Systems, etc. Completion of associated paperwork and IT requirements.
