Cost Analyst / Junior Cost Accountant

Fully Onsite Cost Analyst / Junior Cost Accountant – Manufacturing Randstad has an immediate need for a fully onsite Cost Analyst / Junior Cost Accountant to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for cost accounting, variance analysis, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, KPI tracking, and month-end close support. You’ll work with ERP systems, manufacturing financial data, and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) to analyze performance, perform reconciliations, and deliver actionable insights to leadership. Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.

Ideal Candidate: Analytical finance or accounting professional with advanced Excel skills, ERP exposure, and foundational knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing finance who is eager to grow technical and operational expertise. Responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and support standard cost development
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conduct variance analysis and interpret financial data
• Support month-end close and reporting activities
• Provide timely financial insights to management to support business decisions
• Assist with special projects assigned by the Site Controller
• Learn and work within ERP/manufacturing accounting systems

Required

• Associate’s degree OR currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Exposure to cost accounting concepts
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools
• Familiarity with ERP systems
