Job Opportunity – Physician Assistant – General Surgery – Michigan
Start Date: June 30, 2026
Location: Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift coverage, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM onsite; inpatient trauma call overnight with trauma surgeons available on call from home; patient volume approximately 15-20 per shift; weekend coverage required
Highlights:
- Adult general surgical cases including trauma presentations
- Procedural scope includes central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and vascular access devices
- Contract runs through December 31, 2026
- EMR system: Cerner
- Support from experienced trauma surgery team
- Malpractice coverage included
Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant certification
- Active Michigan state license (must be current prior to start)
- ACLS and ATLS certifications required
- DEA registration
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Local candidates strongly preferred
- Experience in general surgery and trauma settings
