Accountant

LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to hire an Accountant for a hybrid role based in Baraga, MI (3 days onsite, 2 remote). Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost and inventory reports, including COGS and key financial summaries

• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs

• Evaluate cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and production costs

• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and ops teams

• Support physical inventory counts and ensure accurate reporting

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement prep

• Perform journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

• Track KPIs and generate reports using Excel and Power BI

• Drive improvements in reporting, automation, and accounting processes

• Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting needs

Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1–3+ years of accounting experience

• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)

• Familiarity with ERP systems and Power BI

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills

• Cost accounting or manufacturing experience preferred
