In Harmony Café Sweets & More is a community-centered café on Detroit’s Dexter corridor where coffee, people, and purpose come together. We’re looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals to join us as Crew Members and help create a consistent, welcoming experience for every guest.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Crew Member, you play a key role in both guest experience and daily operations . Responsibilities include:

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming, community-focused experience
• Prepare beverages and food items following standard recipes and procedures
• Accurately take and process orders using our POS system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready workspace at all times
• Clean and maintain restrooms, dining areas, and shared spaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
• Complete opening, closing, and daily task checklists
• Support team members during busy periods and events
• Assist with prep, restocking, and maintaining inventory readiness

• Reliable, punctual, and take accountability for their role
• Willing to support all aspects of café operations, including cleaning and maintenance
• Able to follow systems, procedures, and recipes consistently
• Positive, coachable, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Passionate about customer service and community connection

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Manager or Shift Lead on duty , and ultimately to ownership.
