JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: TOOL COORDINATOR (part-time)

LOCATION: Auburn Hills, MI

OBJECTIVE

The Tool Coordinator is a part-time position at our Auburn Hills location. The work week will be a minimum of 16 hours to a maximum of 24 hours. The schedule (days worked and shift start/end time) and amount of weekly hours worked will be determined by the employees preference and availability- but must remain consistent once established. The employee will report directly to the Equipment Services Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Commitment and understanding of CCCs Mission Statement, Vision and Core Values.
  • Compliance with all CCC Standard Operating Procedures (ISO), as required for Yard, Safety, and Environmental Procedures.
  • Support the operation which promotes an efficient turnaround of the tool assessment process.
  • Perform triage of used tools received from field operations.
  • Utilize existing checklists to ensure tools are inspected and tested.
  • Assist with the development of additional checklists to promote consistent means and methods for assessing condition and good working operation of tools.
  • Utilize the CCC tagging System to identify tool status.
  • Document known condition of tools assessed if repairs are required.
  • Organize tools by known good or needs repair.
  • Perform minor repairs as directed (replace missing nuts, guards, battery, etc.).
  • Other duties as directed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Fast-paced, busy, and occasionally noisy work environment.
  • May involve managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • May require outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions.
