Field Service Engineer

$35–$40/hour | Contract

80% Travel (Must Have Passport & Ability to Travel to Canada)

About the Role

Reliance One is hiring a Field Service Engineer for one of our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced robotic technology while supporting installations, troubleshooting, and service repairs across North America. Benefits start day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across multiple teams, including hotline assistance and training support.
• Support phone pager assignments and shift schedule coverage for service needs.
• Deliver prompt, professional, and courteous solutions to customer issues.
• Troubleshoot problems and secure necessary parts for repairs.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, rework, and retrofits on products and equipment.
• Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
• Coordinate activities, parts, and schedules with project management to ensure customer satisfaction and accurate billing.
• Follow engineering guidelines and standardized procedures to meet specifications and regulations.
• Procure supplies, tooling, and associated installation equipment.
• Support installation, startup, and debugging of systems and equipment.
• Prepare service quotes and close out reports.
• Travel to customer sites as required (approximately 80%).

Must-Haves

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical education, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics integration, installation, or service repairs.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Comfortable working independently in a highly autonomous environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (including to Canada).

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder only.
