Your role as a Machine Electrician -LeadAs a Full-Time Machine Electrician - Lead at CG Automation & Fixture (CGAF), you will independently perform highly skilled electrical work on machines, ensuring compliance with CGAF and customer standards. You'll have the exciting opportunity to run and oversee project work, leveraging team-based solutions to drive efficiency. Leading engaging “huddle” meetings at build locations, you’ll foster collaboration and uphold a culture of continuous improvement. Utilizing and teaching 5S methods, you'll create a highly effective and efficient team environment. In addition, you will help to establish and maintain CGAF machine electrical standards, while also training, mentoring, and developing new and less experienced employees.
You will provide timely and detailed status updates using Epicor, ensuring accurate management of start and end dates, along with budgeted hours for each operation. Join us to make a significant impact on our team's performance and the overall success of the organization!
What you need to be successfulTo excel as a Full-Time Machine Electrician - Lead at CGAF, you will need a diverse skill set and a passion for excellence. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy is essential for timely data reporting and project management. Excellent written and oral communication skills are crucial for conveying information clearly to team members and stakeholders. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Be a reliable leader.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), general computer literacy, and ERP software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others and have a positive attitude.
- Must be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.

- High School Degree/GED required.
- Journeyman or Licensed Master Electrician, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the electrical trades
- 3+ years of experience working with 220 volt or higher electrical equipment.
- Familiar with Industry Standards UL, NFPA 79, NEC and CE.
- Experience and skill in troubleshooting machine electrical issues.
