  1. 11:00am – 7:00pm I 80 hours per pay period

Required Experience:

  1. Minimum three years of institutional nutrition services
  2. Previous Lead or Supervisor experience within the food service industry

Preferred Education

  1. High school diploma, GED, required
  2. Serve Safe certification required
  3. Culinary degree, certification, or formal culinary training
  4. Training or experience related to nutrition, food safety, or therapeutic diets

The Difference You’ll Make

  1. Provide overall leadership and support to the Dietary Services department, ensuring efficient and high-quality operations
  2. Leads recruitment and retention initiatives for assigned staff
  3. Manage payroll and scheduling functions, ensuring efficient staffing levels, accurate timekeeping, and compliance with labor guidelines
  4. Monitor and enforce safety practices to ensure compliant and safe work environments
  5. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards in accordance with facility, state, and local regulations
  6. Work collaboratively with dining team members and supervisors to ensure efficient meal service
  7. Provide respectful, service-focused interactions with residents, families, and team members
  8. Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and pride in delivering high-quality dining services

Qualifications:

Education Preferred:

  1. High school diploma, GED, required
  2. Serve Safe certification required
  3. Culinary degree, certification, or formal culinary training
  4. Training or experience related to nutrition, food safety, or therapeutic diets

Experience Required:

  1. Minimum three years of institutional nutrition services experience
  2. Prior Lead or Supervisor experience within the food service industry

Preferred:

  1. Experience in senior living, healthcare dining, or institutional food service settings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
  2. High level of commitment to and success with effective customer service skills
  3. Ability to positively communicate change and to model appropriate behavior to staff and others
  4. Ability to meet attendance expectations and maintain professional work standards
  5. Ability to meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodation
  6. Demonstrate working knowledge of Dining Service functions and related federal and state regulations
  7. Demonstrate abilities to participate in and collaborate with groups
  8. Demonstrate leadership abilities
  9. Effective time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  10. Must meet all federal, state, and local health requirements, including post-offer screening requirements
