GROUNDSKEEPER - GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE

About Us:

Lost Lake Woods Club, nestled in beautiful Lincoln, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Grounds Person to join our golf course maintenance team. Our private club offers a scenic 18-hole golf course and we take pride in maintaining exceptional playing conditions for our members.

Position Overview:

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to help maintain our golf course, clubhouse grounds, and surrounding facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a beautiful setting while contributing to the overall excellence of our club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain golf course elements including greens, fairways, and bunkers

• Operate walk-behind turf equipment and various maintenance machinery

• Perform landscape maintenance including planting and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers

• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and drainage work

• Maintain practice areas and driving range facilities

• Handle general grounds maintenance tasks including leaf removal and waste management

Requirements:

• High School education

• Valid driver's license

• Golf course maintenance experience preferred (6 months+)

• Basic knowledge of golf course operations and irrigation systems

• Ability to work in varying weather conditions

• Physical capability to perform regular lifting, bending, and standing

Working Conditions:

• Seasonal position

• Outdoor work environment

• Early morning hours typical of golf course maintenance

• Operation of mechanical equipment

• Physical work including lifting, bending, and standing

• Protective equipment provided and required for certain tasks
