Schedule: 6:00 AM start time (multiple shift-length options) + on-call rotation

• 5x8s: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 4x10s: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 3x12s: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Registered Nurse - CVOR Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Use the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and patient/family teaching
• Communicate pertinent patient/family updates to the surgical and perioperative care team
• Identify variances from patient goals, participate in solution development, and ensure follow-through
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesia, and hospital staff to support safe outcomes

Registered Nurse - CVOR Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS (required)
• Operating Room (OR) & Cardiac Scrub experience (required)
• On-call requirement: 48 hours of call per 6-week schedule period, including 1 weekend per month
• BSN (Bachelor’s in Nursing) preferred
