The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Delta Township that are seeking skilled Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods against quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct various quality tests, measurements, and functional checks using precision measuring equipment.
• Document inspection and test results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality records and generating reports.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes as required.
• Calibrate, maintain, and verify the accuracy of measurement and test equipment.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Support the development and revision of quality control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and reading blueprints.
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience operating or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
