Mill Maintenance and Feed Mill Technician

Mill Maintenance and Milling Technician Monday through Friday (1st Shift)
Sietsema Farms is currently searching for an experienced maintenance technician for preventative and regular maintenance for a large modern feed mill facility producing pelleted swine and poultry feed. The ideal candidate will have a background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance of feed and ingredient processing equipment and machinery, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems. This position would be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient and uninterrupted daily operations. This role includes preventative maintenance, responding to equipment alarms or breakdowns, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and performing timely repairs. This position will also be responsible for milling and mixing procedures, including the use of the computerized feed batching system, while ensuring that all government and safety standards are met. Included in their responsibilities are: unloading inbound ingredient trucks; maintaining an orderly and clean mill; performing routine preventative maintenance on equipment; maintaining all necessary records; and general housekeeping.
Requirements: Experience in equipment repair and maintenance is required. Availability to work on call when breakdowns occur, and Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. are also necessary in this position.
Pay - $22.00 to $24.00 per hour; based on experience.
