Gastroenterology Physician
Gastroenterology Locums Job in Michigan Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Ongoing Coverage Starting as Soon as Credentialed Assignment
Coverage Details:
Ongoing locum coverage due to team growth
Day shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
Night call: Monday-Friday, 5PM-8AM
24-hour call: Saturday/Sunday, 8AM-8AM (ends Monday at 8AM)
Schedule includes 2-3 overnight calls during the week
Pager starts at 8AM; in-house coverage from 8AM-5PM
Monday-Sunday schedule is the current setup, flexibility available Requirements:
Board Certified
Minimum of 3 years of experience
ERCP - highly preferred Assignment Details:
In-house gastroenterology hospitalist support beginning approximately 90 days from privileging
Heavy call burden; locum support needed
Inpatient volume: 20-30 patients daily (up to 40); APPs assist with rounding
Procedures: 2-10 per day for physician, with APP support
APP support: 3 APPs at each hospital (6 total)
Dedicated anesthesia support available
