Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable for vendors and customers.
• Manage payroll processing for all employees, including production staff.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records for inventory, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Monitor and track manufacturing-related expenses and revenue.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems like SAP or NetSuite).
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and manage financial records accurately.
• Familiarity with manufacturing financial processes, including Work-in-Process (WIP) and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) commonly used in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with basic cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for financial data analysis.
