Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to reduce recurrence.
• Provide comprehensive EHS training to employees at all levels, including new hire orientation and specialized topics.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal, chemical handling, and emergency response plans.
• Promote a strong EHS culture through employee engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills, with a track record of fostering a proactive safety culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification.
• Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce.
