Gasser Bush Associates is the largest manufacturer's rep agency of commercial and industrial lighting and lighting controls equipment in the state of Michigan and Northwest Ohio, currently representing over 145 different manufacturers. We work closely with the architectural and engineering design community and sell our products through the electrical distribution channels.

We are looking for a full-time Quotes Coordinator to be a part of our inside sales support team. The Quotes Coordinator helps ensure that the company is highly responsive to the needs of our customers, sales representatives, and sales personnel, by replying to customer requests inside of our shared quotations email box via email and taking phone calls.

This job consists of the following roles:

1. Ownership of quotes email box: Review and process every request. (50%)
2. Create job files and load all information into Agile. (25%)
3. Loading bid information into Airtable (10%)
4. Coordinate responses to and complete all out-of-territory quotes. (5%)
5. Quote Select Jobs (under $5K) as directed. (5%)

1. Continuous Improvement and Professional Development. (5%)

Metrics:

1. Emails answered within 2 hours
2. Number of Project containers created per week
3. Airtable information updated daily
4. Number of Out of territory quotes per week.
5. Under $5K jobs quoted per week.

• Understanding how GBA operates internally (workflow, IT, internal and external software used)

Qualifications and requirements to join our team:

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and oral communicator with pleasant and professional phone skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communications skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Confidence, patience, professionalism, tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging situations

Preferred qualifications:

• 1-2 years' experience in the Electrical Industry or Industrial Distribution working with distributors and contractors
• 1-2 years' experience in a related Quotes position
• Solid knowledge of lighting
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Construction, Distribution or a related field
