Salary Range: $122,000 - $171,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on production costs and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, maintaining robust internal controls.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a finance team and implement robust internal controls.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analytics.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications.
• Prior experience with financial due diligence or integration for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
