Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our high-end metalwork team. This role requires precision welding skills combined with strong metal fabrication abilities, including reading drawings, laying out materials, and creating custom parts from start to finish, such as handrails, staircases, structural Repair, and Fabrication. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works independently, and has a proven track record in both welding and fabrication.

Winter Hours: 20-40 Hours a week.

Spring- Fall: 40 with the opportunity for overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.

• Layout, measure, and cut material to precise specifications using saws, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools.

• Fit, tack, and assemble components for welding, ensuring proper alignment and tolerances.

• Perform high-quality MIG, Tig, and stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. (TIG is a bonus)

• Grind, finish, and polish metal surfaces to the required standards.

• Operate fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, oxy torches, press brakes, rollers, forklifts, and welding machines.

• Conduct quality inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.

• Maintain tools and equipment, performing routine checks and preventive maintenance.

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience (custom fabrication preferred).

• Proficient in MIG and stick welding techniques. (TIG is a bonus)

• Strong layout and measurement skills; able to work from detailed drawings with minimal supervision.

• Experience with metalworking tools and fabrication machinery.

• Ability to lift to 75 lbs. and work in various positions.

• AWS or other welding certifications are a plus.

• Commitment to quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

• Have A Valid driver's license.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $22–$32/hour (DOE) — equivalent to ~$48,000–$67,000/year. Depending on Testing and the ability to work independently.
