Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program PLC and HMI applications for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system failures, electrical issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control system documentation, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Lead the commissioning, startup, and validation of new machinery and control system upgrades.
• Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance machine efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams on control systems.
• Ensure all control system designs and modifications comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex control systems, including electrical and software components.
• Experience with industrial robotics, vision systems, or advanced motion control applications.
• Solid understanding of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel design principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Familiarity with database integration (SQL, Historian) for data logging and reporting.
• Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for custom applications or data analysis.
